Green Oasis
The June 14 Riverwest Neighborhood Association meeting was packed. Greenfolks Gardeners turned out in force to support their neighborhood project. People filled every chair, and many sat on the floor. Two children inspected a map of the garden propped against the wall as the adults talked about the future of the neighborhood garden on Wright Street between Booth and Holton.
District 4 School Board Candidate Forum
On April 5, Riverwest residents in the northern half of the neighborhood will be voting for one of two candidates for the MPS School Board 4th District. They will choose between incumbent and Board Vice President Charlene Hardin and challenger Bernadine Bradford. We asked each of the candidates to answer a series of MPS-related questions of importance to our neighborhood.
Robin Leenhouts
