Public transportation, by virtue of the number of riders in each vehicle, always has been “greener” than individual drivers relying solely on automobiles for their transportation needs.
For 67 years, the house at 2565 N. Humboldt Blvd. was owned and occupied by the same family. In fact, it was even designed by one of the family members.

It was the wettest July on record in Milwaukee (over 10 inches officially). Over half the rain that fell in most areas fell on Thursday July 22. Much of this deluge fell within an hour. With the ground saturated from the storm just a week before, the runoff and flooding was dramatic.
