The money we receive will go towards restoration at our 2.8 acre riverfront site on the Milwaukee River. Our project, “Dams, Demolition, and Restoration”, will restore major riparian habitat on a 2.8 acre riverfront parcel, helping to reduce stormwater run-off, improve habitat for wildlife and serve as primary entrance for recreation in the Milwaukee river valley.
River Revitalization Foundation (RRF) is one of six finalists for a MillerCoors Grant. Vote For RRF
and help us get up to $30,000 in funds for restoration of the new Greenway Gateway Park (the
old Wheelhouse site),that RRF has acquired.
MillerCoors and River Network, a national non-profit group, have partnered together to create a
grant program for local non-profits across the country that are focused on water issues.
Six finalists have been chosen and will be posted on River Network’s website.
