Dr. Wallace Cheatham, a musical jewel of our Harambee community, has been selected to be included in the 22nd, 2005 edition of Who’s Who in the World. He is being honored for his outstanding achievements as a musician and composer. Recently retired from Milwaukee Public Schools, Cheatham is this year’s resident composer at Menasha High School, in Menasha, WI. Under his direction, the school’s orchestra will develop a composition to be premiered at their spring concert. Cheatham is also known around town for his work as accompanist for many locally and nationally acclaimed vocalists, as well as his numerous workshops. He is also part of the music team at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he is a member. Hats off to Cheatham!
