14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt set for April 3 Every year, Milwaukee Recreation places ten-thousand candy-filled eggs in the park and invites children between the ages of 1 and 12 to collect as many eggs as possible. This years Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 3 in Washington Park, 1859 North 40th St. (enter the park via the parking lot off 40th Street). Admission is free. This event is exciting for children, and our staff always looks forward to creating a memorable experience for everyone who participates, says MPS Assistant Recreation Supervisor Bosco Miller. All ten-thousand eggs will be gone in twenty minutes, so we encourage everyone to be at the park right at 10:00 a.m. Im currently negotiating with the Easter Bunny for a guest appearance. Its looking very promising. For more information about this years Easter Egg Hunt, call (414) 475-8811.
