Clamor Magazine & Rooftop Films will be in Milwaukee on their “Project (Stop The) Mayhem” tour of the Midwest Tuesday, October 7th 7:00pm-9:30pm Free and Open to the Public Hosted by the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design at the Eisner Museum 208 N. Water St. Jason Kucsma of Clamor Magazine will present a short film on Clamor and will talk about independent media. Jason is the Co-editor and founder of Clamor Magazine. Jason also founded the Allied Media Conference, an underground publishing conference that has been running since 1999. This year, the Utne Reader Honored Jason Kucsma as one of the country’s “Young Visionaries under 30.” Josh Brietbart will present an hour long program from Rooftop Films. Rooftop Films screens some of the best examples of contemporary international independent film and video on rooftops in Brooklyn all summer long. The presentation on Wednesday October 8th will be held at 808 S. 5th Street (Off National). Along with the Clamor/Rooftop Films program, local film maker Laura Klein will screen her new film “Treeless Wonder”. The Wednesday program will start at 8:00pm.
