On August 29th, eVibe (eclectic vibe), will play a headlining shows at Linnemans for Harley Fest. The group eVibe has put together an evening of exciting music consisting of Madison favorite Donnie Bakken 8:30p.m.; Chicago’s 10:00p.m. and eVibe at 11:15p.m.

The truck’s engine started one more time, and the marchers walked down Bremen Street, making their way between humble Polish flats and duplexes. Parents and children came out on their porches to watch in the chilly, late-afternoon sunlight. The marchers sang, “Siempre, siempre, es hermoso vivir, si aprendemos amar” — “It’s always beautiful to live, if we learn to love.”

Woodland Pattern Book Center

Anne Kingsbury, the soft-spoken co-founder of Woodland Pattern Book Center on Locust Street, exhibits the same traits as many entrepreneurs: passion for what she does and a clarity of vision to hold true to the “company” mission. The mission, though, for Woodland Pattern, isn’t selling the most books at the greatest profit, but to promote poetry, literature, and audience development for writing.
