Riverwest Co-op is moving ahead on plans to convert its garage space to a cafe. The Lincoln Neighborhood Redevelopment Corporation (LNRC) and Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund have agreed to loan more than $50,000 to the co-op to fund the project. . . .

At the November 11 RNA meeting, Dave Schlabowske of the Milwaukee office of the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin attended to ask for feedback on the status of bike lanes and bike rack sites in Milwaukee. Current bike routes were set up in 1993 and have not been reviewed since. BFW is currently reviewing the entire network, filling in gaps, and repainting lanes. . . .

Recently the River Revitalization Foundation (RRF) joined Mayor Norquist, Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewerage District (MMSD) Director Kevin Schaefer, other City and County officials in Gordon Park to announce the MMSD Greenseams program purchase of an easement on the Beer Line Bike Trail.
