Holton Liquor, 2305 N. Holton, is being sold to a new owner, Jim Rahim. Mr. Rahim has applied for a liquor license which was approved 5-0 by the Utilities & Licensing Committee (U&L) on March 1. Only one person showed up to voice concerns.Due to the fact that neighbors were not aware of the application, Ald. Mike McGee and Ald. Mike D’Amato requested at the March 16 Common Council meeting that it be sent back to the U&L Committee.To date, they have received a few comments.
