Where Were You When the aradigm Shifted – Part II
… on the morning of inauguration, thousands of folks stood patiently, obediently, and quietly in line waiting for our gates to open, clutching
our precious purple tickets. Every once in a while someone would start a chant of “O-BA-MA!” or “Fire it up, ready to go!” But the chants would die out in 10-20 seconds from lack of response.

We are a neighborhood group known as Riverwesters for Progressive Growth. We are a friendly, loose affiliation among neighbors in Riverwest and the surrounding neighborhoods who have a pragmatic interest in keeping their blocks clean, safe, peaceful and enjoyable.
That is our city hall. Or that is what our city hall used to look like. It is getting an extensive exterior renovation. The finished product should look a lot like the original. That is the plan.
We are reporting on the cover of this issue that after 12 years in office Mike D’Amato is not running for re-election.
