Riverwest Breaks the Rules Again!
Scandalous Readings of Banned Books
The ACLU of Wisconsin Foundation and Woodland Pattern Book Center join forces on October 14 to present a celebration of beloved banned books. Learn about censorship attempts in and around Southeastern Wisconsin.
Then, what you really came for, excerpts from the “hot” books.
Invited readers include Peggy Hong, Angie Trudell Vasquez, Kiki Anderson, Anne Kingsbury, and Angela Lang, President of the ACLU of WI Student Alliance at UW-Milwaukee. Event takes place from 7 to 8:30PM. Reception begins at 6:30PM.
