This event will celebrate non-violence, commUNITY, and positive entertainment! Hip Hop Gospel Rap-Breakdancing-African Dance-World Drumming-Moving Speeches from young leaders…a jambalaya of positive messages through the arts! The Summer of Peace Initiative is seeking sponsorship and donations from generous residents and business owners to make this another successful event! We are confident that this year’s new location will bring more of the Milwaukee communty out, especially our near Harambee & North side neighbors and we want to be prepared! We would like to give away at least 350 Summer of Peace T-shirts this year. We have been offered a discount on our order. Can you help? We would also like to give away fun & safe summer toys to the kids in attendance. New jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, holla hoops, balls, crayons, and coloring books. We need Summer of Peace Buttons & Ballons ordered to give away…cost of about $200. Can you contribute food & beverages? We are inviting vendors to set up at this event.
