Locust St. Time: 9:00p.m. (eVibe plays @ 11:00) www.evibemusic.com On August 29th, eVibe (eclectic vibe), will play a headlining shows at Linnemans for Harley Fest. The group eVibe has put together an evening of exciting music consisting of Madison favorite Donnie Bakken 8:30p.m.; Chicago’s 10:00p.m. and eVibe at 11:15p.m. This night of music promises dancing, grooving, and a little bit of boogie. All three bands are diverse in talent and will bring a variety of music to listeners. As far as genre of music the bands play a fusion of funk, rock, jazz, and folk. eVibe will be giving away 25 free CD’s and lighters.


The band, eVibe, established itself in Milwaukee January of 2002 playing a large number of shows and venues within the city. Since then, the group had the opportunity to headline a main-stage at Locust Street Festival in 2002 and 2003. In November 2002, Eclectic Vibe had the honor of receiving Shepherd Express’ Best New Band award. Also, the band was a finalist in MOMBOB, Milwaukee’s Original Music Battle Of the Bands. Within recent months, Eclectic Vibe played Hotel Milwaukee, which was broad casted on the radio in Milwaukee and throughout the nation. In addition the group was represented at the WAMI awards and recently played to a crowd of 215 followers at Shank Hall.
