The Columbia-St. Mary’s Family Health Center has nearly finished moving from its location on North Lake Drive to a new Riverwest location adjacent to the Jewel-Osco store on the corner of North and Humboldt Avenues. The storefronts along North Ave., which have been vacant since the store opened in early 2000, will house examination rooms, laboratories and conference rooms. The care center will be staffed by residents of the Medical College of Wisconsin and will provide services such as annual exams and physicals, women’s health and gynecology, low-risk obstetrics, sports medicine and counseling. The clinic will open in early to mid-March, but will not begin taking new appointments in March.
